The SIMC Bangalore Campus formal launch was graced by former Chief Election Commissioner T.N. Seshan. Chancellor of Symbiosis University S.B. Majumdar requested Mr. Seshan to become the Mentor and Professor Emeritus of the Bangalore campus of Symbiosis

 Theatre Club:
Yours Truly is a Bangalore based theatre group which has been started by Ranji David and Nandhini Rao. The group came to the Bangalore campus to perform "PLAYBACK THEATER" on request from the theatre group of SIMC, Bangalore. Playback theatre is an impromptu form of theatre where the main emphasis is given on the interaction with the audience. In this form of theatre, it is the audience which decides the manner in which the play would be enacted. The whole performance is divided into several categories and at the end of their performance; they take responses from the audiences as to how they liked the show, and enact the same on the stage. It was a perfect ending to a perfect evening of theatre. |
Fresher’s Party
Bangalore Darshan
An industrial tour of the Manipal Press was arranged. This was followed by a visit to Manipal University which saw the presence of editor-journalist-writer M V Kamath.
