The batch of 2012 was warmly welcomed by the co curricular cell through a friendly cricket match between both the batches, a freshers' party and auditions and tryouts for various SIMC teams and clubs.

The friendly cricket match between the seniors and juniors marked the opening of the academic year 2010. Something new was the mixed teams we had and the girls were no less enthusiastic with the bats.

Auditions and tryouts took place for over a month, shortlisting people from both the batches for forming official college teams such as dance team, bands, fashion team, debate team, theater group etc - a first at SIMC.

2. Traditional Day and Culture night:

The Traditional Day saw the young boys and girls of SIMC flaunt their traditional Indian wear. The evening saw the students stepping into their best shoes giving stunning performances. 'JALSA' as we called it had dance, music, plays and even art - talent at its best. A first time at SIMC, we hope to bring out the best in students at many more such occasions.

3. SIMC has student teams and clubs for various activities including performing arts and sports. These students represent SIMC, Pune in various events and competitions across the country.
