The cartoon character, 'Common Man', created by R K Laxman, India's best known cartoonist, adorns the front of the Symbiosis Vishwabhavan building. It is perhaps the biggest statue of a cartoon character on display anywhere in the world. Symbiosis has chosen to put up this unusual statue because it identifies with the Common Man and his perceptions, as seen through the eyes of his creator. R K Laxman has been a well wisher of Symbiosis since long. |
