Established in 1971, primarily to promote and foster world understanding by
bringing together Indian and foreign students through education, Symbiosis

Webelieve in education that is based on knowledge and utility. Symbiosis

Media education has emerged remarkably in this country in the last fifteen
years. From mere classroom lectures on history and laws of press and a few tips on
reporting and editing, it has evolved into a vast domain of education covering
print, television, radio, video, cinema, animation, graphics, advertising and
public relations.

It is now more practice-oriented, performance-based, perceptiongoverned and
interactive. Herein lies the pleasure of training in media education. It is
interactive and production-oriented. Performance is the key here.
