Admission Update on April 20,2011 |
|
|
As a few seats in MBA and even fewer in MMC are still to be filled, we have called or mailed each of the candidates who have made it within this updated admission list with the new cut offs (MBA: 58.65 and MMC: 48.60).
We are currently waiting to hear back from them. The response time is lesser than what was provided to the candidates on the earlier merit lists as we are asking them to accept or decline our offer within three days. In case of cancellations we are contacting the next candidates. We will be closing admissions by the 30th of April 2011.
Candidates on the second wait list for MBA and the first wait list for MMC, please note that we are contacting you on the phone and email id provided by you in your application form. In case of any change, please send us an email with the new contact information immediately. We have had a few students who have not answered their phones when we have called repeatedly and on receipt of the email, have got in touch with us frantically assuring us of their interest. Therefore, to avoid any confusion and to know about your admission status as soon as possible, please update us of your new contact information.
If we don’t hear back from the students within three days of the pre offer mail, we will assume that you are not interested in SIMC and open the seat to the next candidate.
If you are no longer interested in hearing back from SIMC please write us a mail to withdraw from our wait list. Withdrawal from our waitlist will be seen as equivalent of cancellation from the admission process.
As always, we would like to help the best and the most versatile candidates join us. The last leg of selection is critical in bringing the most interested candidates to our institute and we wish to leave no stone unturned in sourcing them from our admission pool.
We wish you luck.
