Master of Mass Communication (MMC): 60 seats

APPLICATION GUIDE
Please take your time to fill out the application form. Review your responses and ensure accuracy of information. Failure to do so may render your form ineligible for assessment.
Please Note : Addressing the outstanding demand from the student community, SIU has started with effect from this year an additional test for our MMC Programme. MMC SNAP will be held on the same date and time as SNAP Test i.e. December 18,2011 between 2.00pm and 4.00pm.
Application to SIMC consists of two important steps:

| Apply for SNAP Visit www.snaptest.org for application form and all information related to SNAP Choose ‘SNAP(General) Test’ option in the SNAP form Register and Make Payment Upon payment, a SNAP ID and password is generated which will be essential to initiate the SIMC application form and for all future correspondence. Appearing for SNAP exam. This is compulsory for seeking admission to SIMC. |

Part II- Apply to SIMC-Pune
- A separate application form has to be filled out for SIMC.

- The non negotiable application fee is Rs. 1000. There are three modes of payment for your application form.

- AXIS Bank Easy Payment System
Reservation of seats within sanctioned intake:
- SC - 15%
- ST - 7.5%
- Persons with Disabilities – 3%
Over and above the sanctioned intake:
- Kashmiri Migrant : 2 Seats per Programme
- International Students : 15%

Please refer the following categories under International Students for Admissions:
Foreign National (FN): A student is eligible to apply as a Foreign National (FN) if he/she holds a foreign passport.
Person of Indian Origin (PIO): A student is eligible to apply as a Person of Indian Origin (PIO) if he/she has a PIO card, and is a citizen of a country other than India.
Non Resident Indian (NRI):
A student is eligible to apply as a Non Resident Indian (NRI) if he/she has appeared either for the 10+2 (equivalent to the Indian 10+2) examination or Graduation outside India. It is mandatory for one of the two qualifying examinations to be given outside India.
Graduates in any discipline from a recognized University with 50% (45% for SC/ST) aggregate are eligible. Applicants expecting their final year results may apply. Their admission will be provisional and subject to furnishing proof of graduation with 50% by beginning of the Second Semester.
